In the Details

When I saw actor Laura Harrier's home via an Architectural Digest tour, the first thing I noticed (besides the absolutely enormous Monstera plant in her living room) was her love for vintage home decor...
Vintage Shelfie It can be seen in the lush, pink velvet couch, the oversized marble coffee table, the late mid-century & 80s art. Yet, the vintage touches that really stand out to me-the ones that make her home feel extra special-are the smaller ones...dare I say the "tchotchkes"? Some examples include; a brass spiral shell, an all wicker lamp, various textural vases, & two single candlestick holders placed about. These are the items that can take a home from looking like a showroom replica to a space that feels individual, inspired & lived in. Laura's home has made me extra excited to share what I have gathered for MilkMade in the coming weeks-& then to get out there & do it again!
